We are currently looking for a:
Print Production Specialist
Reporting to the Dynamite Creative Services Manager, this individual will be responsible for coordinating printing projects, communicating with interdepartmental leads, managing distribution lists, creating purchase orders with suppliers and responding to store printing requests. The specialist will also need to have printing knowledge to properly recommend technical specs and manage production details for the Dynamite brand.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Manage the production of all print-related projects for the Dynamite brand (including research of both material and vendor, testing, quotes, requisitions/orders, press/quality approval, delivery follow-up);
• Contact suppliers to secure quotes, and use internal system to create purchase orders and follow up on delivery and reception of items;
• Manage the quotes, orders and budget of each individual print-related project with vendors;
• Manage and update the distribution lists for all print-related projects (store distribution list);
• Manage print production for store openings and relocations for both Canada and USA and coordinate delivery on site;
• Manage print-related individual store request (SAM tickets);
• Maintain production schedule for all print-related projects and readjust timelines as required to respect deadlines;
• Analyze projects and assist in problem solving pertaining to distribution lists, printing, and delivery;
• With the assistance of the graphic designers, assist in attending press approvals and validating that quality is up to standard;
• Coordinate deliveries with warehouse teams to ensure seamless deliveries;
• Oversee procedures, shipping and orders for USA shipments from warehouse;
• Advise alternative solutions to print projects with respect to process to save on costs, time, and to provide better value or improve quality;
• Communicate with Manager, interdepartmental teams and printing suppliers to assure the successful completion of projects.
Qualifications and competencies:
• College degree (DEC);
• Minimum of 5+ years experience within a coordination & print production capacity;
• Full knowledge of Office suite;
• Ability to work in a fast paced and multi-tasking environment;
• Great team player;
• Detailed oriented, organized, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously;
• Bilingual (English & French).
