Made-to-Measure Brand Ambassador
Role Mandate:
Under the leadership of the Men’s Clothing Manager, the Modern Made-to-Measure Brand Ambassador should exhibit the entrepreneurial spirit required to build the Saks Modern M2M business. This individual will drive sales volume while utilizing technology and a streamlined approach this program will reinvent the made to measure experience
The Modern M2M Brand Ambassador will leverage all resources to sell to their clients – In Store, In Home and Technology. This Brand Ambassador represents the ‘face of the brand’ and is responsible for technical knowledge of product, product training / education for other SFA Associates, product feedback to the merchants / vendors and advanced client and business development skills related to their Made-to-Measure product.
Responsibilities:
• Leverage all selling tools (In store experiences (including the FAC), technology, social media, outside shopping experiences, etc.) to drive sales
• Develop and execute strategies for acquiring new clients and expanding existing client sales to meet or exceed individual sales goals
• Strategically develop plan in partnership with leadership to support overall Local Business Development Plan
• Reinforce shortage awareness and adherence to SOP as it relates to the overall profitability of the area
• Coordinate department efforts to maximize special events and trunk show focus days
• Develop partnerships with Fifth Avenue Club consultants and other Store Associates to promote line and increase intersell
• Use the Monthly Recap Form to provide feedback to corporate buying office and vendor regarding specific needs, opportunities, sizing and customer requests to target future growth
• Act as a liaison between department and vendor representatives
• Leverage opportunities to share technical product knowledge to educate the customer and other SFA Associates on the characteristics of the product (construction, fabrication, design, etc.)
• Model the “GREAT” Saks Fifth Avenue Service Principles, (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend and Thank)
Qualifications
• Positive attitude in the work place with effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Minimum 3 years of retail experience, in a customer focused luxury environment
• Possess an established clientele while also demonstrating the ability to acquire new clients
• 2+ years of selling experience in Made-to-Measure product
• Ability to strategize your own business and be self -motivated; taking initiative to increase individual productivity through strong client relationship
• Demonstrate sound business judgment and organizational ability
• Utilize social media platforms to promote and consistently drive business
• Capable of working well with others, as well as working independently to drive a successful business
• Candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills. He/she will be required to build relationships with and train other team members to help sell the product represented
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking with independent decision-making
• Bachelor's degree preferred
