The Merchandise Coordinator, Wholesale reports directly to the Director, Visual Merchandise Coordinators
Responsibilities:
• Maintain the Vince visual merchandising standards within assigned accounts
• Wholesale accounts/majors to include Saks, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Barney’s and Bergdorf Goodman.
• Communicate and deliver all brand appropriate material to store management (i.e. seasonal packets on product knowledge)
• Ensure the sales staff has accurate knowledge of the up-to-date company display standards and merchandising strategies.
• Plan, prep and install based on design directive given by the merchandising team.
• Communicate regularly with store management and the visual merchandising team regarding merchandising initiatives, display standards and installations.
• Plan and execute product knowledge seminars for large groups within a store level
• Coordinate store visits within store rotation and territory
• Communicate business with store management and specialists; develop strategies and lead execution to drive sales
• Frequently communicate with Account Executives on store recaps and any pertinent information per account.
• Partner with Logistic/Merchandise Managers to effectively enforce organization within stockrooms on a store level
• Host store requested events and assist in the planning and execution
• Assist with minimal recruiting for any open specialist positions
• Coordinate shipping of display materials as needed
Qualifications:
• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree
• Must have a minimum of one to two (1-2) years of relevant visual merchandising experience
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must have proven ability to work with a cross-functional team
• Must be able to multitask
• Must have strong business acumen
• Must be flexible to change schedule with little advanced notice
• Must be able to drive and willing to travel
• Must be able to work some Saturday’s based on business needs and store events
