Description
Provide support to the global brand by assisting the development of new product forecasting guidelines for all markets. Work closely with the Global Marketing, Product Development and GBSC Teams in supporting to develop business plans as projects move through the Innovation process. Communicate forecast guidelines to the regions and assist them in incorporating them into their business plans. Monitor brand sales trends for across all Regions and Markets and provide ad-hoc demand analytics to support brand myriad lead initiatives. In particular, provide support for the annual innovation planning, strategy, budget and Long Term Planning process. Review and monitor the alignment of the Demand Plan and Financial Estimate to understand reconciliation between them as part of the larger SIOP Process. Manage multiple aspects of the the non-saleable business from the reconciliation process where you will work with regional partners to address variances and drive alignment and the non-saleable SBS reporting to drive improvements in non-saleable planning.
Support the development of new product forecasting guidelines for all markets working closely with Global Marketing, Global Brand Supply Chain and Product Development as part of the Brand and Corporate Innovation Process. Work closely with Regional Brand and Demand Planning Teams to assure robust business plans are put in place. Support monitoring and understanding of post launch performance.
Provide business and portfolio analytics to support the global Brand.This includes the issuance of several standard monthly and quarterly reports as well as general ad-hoc analyses. For all standard reports provide a summary of findings and recommendations to allow the brand to address risks and opportunities to the Brand's Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Operating Plan. Support licensor reporting for assigned brands.
Manage multiple aspects of the non-saleable process from reconciliation to SBS reporting and drive improved analytics and planning.
Review and monitor the alignment of the Demand Plan and Financial Estimate to understand reconciliation between them as part of the large Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
Assist the Brand with the SKU Portfolio Management process. Monitor the planned phase outs of existing items and assure they are timed with any linked successor SKU launches.
Lead and support process improvement initiatives which could include: drive consistent process adoption across all regions, lead continuous improvement/ enhancement to tools and processes, special projects as required to improve overall performance of the function.
Qualifications
Master's degree
Minimum 5 years of related experience
Strong knowledge of the Marketing, Marketing Research, and Finance functions is preferred.
Strong analytical skills, strong excel skills, strong knowledge of the demand planning process and business planning
Strong leadership skills - proven ability to lead a team or sub team members
Systems thinking mindset - ability to understand multiple interactions with the demand-driven Supply Chain.
Strong knowledge of Brands Go-To-Market strategies, brand positioning, and Regions/Affiliates strategies
Travel up to 5% to Regional offices or Conferences.
