We are looking for a HR Specialist Retail (Intern) to support the HR strategy within the retail side of our business, which consists of around 65 stores in Italy and Switzerland. Working closely with District Managers, Store Management, the EMEA HR Retail Community and the Country’s HR team, you will help execute the retail HR strategy, policies and procedures, set up effective recruitment processes and provide a confidential and efficient HR service to all Retail personnel.
This role will involve:
RECRUITMENT and ONBOARDING
• Monitor all Retail vacancies across Italy and Switzerland, and post both internally and externally through Workday Recruiting
• Support Store Management in sourcing the right candidates and ensure the correct usage of VF tools and systems
• When necessary, establish a partnership with Recruiting Agencies
• Conduct phone and face to face interviews
• Support Store Management in executing the onboarding process for new hires
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
• Advise Store Management in all phases of VF Performance Cycle and ensure appraisals are conducted in the proper timeline
• Train the new Managers on VF Performance Management
ADMINISTRATION
• Establish a clear partnership between HR and the Retail and monitor all workforce contractual aspects, i.e. end of contract, renewal, probation period
• Support Admin and Payroll Team in drawing up contracts and HR letters for all retail personnel and ensure HR folders are always complete
• Support Store Management in understanding and applying all admin policies and procedures
• Update the HR systems; produce analysis and reports
Good organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure and an excellent mastery of English are a prerequisite. Given the variety of people within our organization, you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
