Position Purpose and Scope
The Senior Director, FP&A will partner with the Corp SVP of Global Expansion & Business Development to provide financial management leadership, analysis and strategic business acumen. Requires advanced analytical proficiency and a proven track record of proactively driving efficiencies and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Active partner to the CSVP to provide leadership and insight in developing strategies and detailed plans to deliver against business targets aligned to the Way Forward Plan.
Develop, analyze, and prepare reports on the financial performance of divisions against prior periods, forecasts and budgets. Provide senior management and cross-functional business partners with timely, accurate and actionable financial analysis.
Ensure data accuracy to drive financially sound decision making.
Partner to Real Estate in developing global real estate strategy, preparation of portfolio reviews and support strategic initiatives.
Track timelines and assist with improvements to the overall global real estate process. Manage, develop and enhance real estate tools.
Develop functional expertise in all supported functional areas.
Support negotiations across Real Estate and Licensing.
Own pro forma accuracy.
Provide leadership and guidance to team members.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related field. MBA preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience in a financial role preferred.
• Proven track record in delivering results.
• Solid grasp of finance concepts and able to perform accurate financial analysis in a fast paced environment.
• Able to synthesize financial analysis with business partner feedback into a clear business case recommendation.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, organization and communication skills, as well as sense of accountability and ownership. Able to explain complex financial analysis in non-technical terms.
• Proven ability to build strong cross functional working relationships with partners across organizations.
• Experience in a fast paced environment in an analytical capacity (FP&A in a multinational company preferred).
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently.
• Well organized and sensitive to deadlines. Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities successfully.
• Confident communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Advanced competency in Excel.
