Bonobos is looking for a talented, enthusiastic and passionate Art Director to join our killer Creative team.
Reporting to the Creative Director, the Art Director - Offline will oversee the articulation of our brand through channels including packaging and labels, outdoor advertising, our Guideshop window designs, print magazines and catalogs. You’ll work collaboratively with the Art Director - Online (your "partner in crime"), as well as a team of Graphic Designers, Copywriters and Photographers to create a compelling, engaging and consistent brand look and feel.
What you’ll do…
• Create all assets for offline marketing channels, including but not limited to packaging, labels, advertising, Guideshop assets, print magazines and our catalog
• Partner with the CMO, Creative Director, and Art Director - Online to define and evolve the expression of the brand across all channels
• Partner with Channel Owners of Offline Marketing Channels to deliver creative that drives business results, learning from performance and iterating as necessary, whilst staying true to the brand voice
• Partner with the Product (Clothing) Design team, to ensure the way we are presenting the clothing is true to their vision of the clothing and ultimately the brand
• Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to create compelling concepts for window designs and bring them to life through a variety of different assets
• Work with agency partners to ensure that any assets created by agencies, remain true to the Bonobos brand
• Manage a team of at least one junior designer, coaching and developing them along the way
You...
• Have 8 + years of commercial graphic design experience, and most recently have been a brand designer working on campaigns across multiple print channels
• Have a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field
• Are proficient in Adobe CS/CC, predominantly InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and have an understanding of graphic and web design principles
• Are a strong communicator, are able to prioritize and manage work to adhere to critical timelines and have a positive attitude
• Are a strong conceptual thinker who can work in a collaborative environment with different cross-functional partners
• Possess a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to produce creative and effective marketing materials through the combination of typography, photography and layout
• Have pre-production concepting and location/studio photoshoot experience
• Enjoy an office environment where playing music out loud and using headphones are mutually accepted
