We are now looking for a talented Social Media Editor to join THE OUTNET Social Media team.
Responsibilities:
• Create, curate and promote provocative and compelling content across our social media
• channels
• Ensure all content across all platforms reflects the aims and values of the brand and adheres to the social media / brand TOV
• Build audience, engage followers and generate web traffic from social channels
• Attend all creative and editorial meetings
• Work closely with Social Media Manager to plan, implement and manage weekly schedules for all social media content
• Liase with marketing and editorial to shape content for key brand moments and campaigns
• Identify relevant trends, stories and traffic opportunities
• Collaborate with Social Media Manager to evolve and guide social media strategy
• Seamlessly integrate social media into campaigns from counterparts in sales, marketing and partnerships
• Test and optimise creative, messaging, target audiences and placements
Essential Skills & Requirements:
• Proven experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Google +, LinkedIn)
• Ability to put forth big ideas and creative copy to support commercial objectives
• Quick thinking and a sharp, witty sense of humor that shines through in your work
• Experience and proven ability to develop social media content that generates social reach and builds web traffic
• A complete understanding of social media, new trends and how they can be leveraged collectively to drive impact, loyalty and engagement
• Power user skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Keynote.
• Ability to learn, utilize and improve internal systems and processes
Location: London, W12
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
