Job Summary
We are currently seeking a candidate to be part of our dynamic Promotional Purchasing team!
This role is a 40 hour/week position that would be ideal for new graduates. Located in NYC, our Promo Purchasing team is responsible for managing all collateral and promotional items for our Luxe Products Division of L’Oreal.
As a coordinator, you would be responsible for the following:
• Purchase Order Creation and Completion in our SRM System (heavy use)
• Problem Solving
• Physical routing of production proofs/samples to stakeholders for approval/comments
• Goods-receipt confirmations and invoice-matching of high-volume projects
• Award/Rejection letters to supplier
• Follow ups with suppliers (expediting)as well as internal stakeholders (creative, marketing, sales)
• Component Reject disposition
• Assist the purchasing team in the Soliciting of Program Bids from suppliers
• Assist as required in order Placement supervised by Buying team
• Sending packages via UPS (as needed), packing and unpacking of office shipments
• Participate as needed in conference calls with Purchasing team
• Development of promotional programs
• Reports and analysis- heavy use of Excel

Job, Education and Professional Requirements
• Must have recently obtained a Bachelor's degree in business related discipline. Degrees in Print, Advertising, Packaging and Supply Chain preferred
• Previous internship or work experience in purchasing and/or in production especially in CPG related company preferred
• Experience in leadership including team management and/or project management is also preferred
• Well-developed PC skills, advanced Excel skills
• Excellent analytical skills, multi-tasking individual, detail orientated
• Strong prioritization, time management, coordination and follow-up skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strong working knowledge of SAP or equivalent is a plus
• Ability to handle work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to present data collected and analyzed to multiple levels of management
