The Marketing Coordinator, Polo Men’s will serve as right hand to the Senior Director, Polo Men’s Marketing working closely together on every aspect of the 360-degree global marketing strategy for the brand, inclusive of all channels (retail, wholesale, e-commerce, social media, advertising, events & more). The Coordinator will serve as a key member of a small team, and will oversee execution of the strategies defined each year.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain a current knowledge of the menswear fashion landscape, keeping a working repository of top menswear editorial & e-commerce websites, influencers, strong initiatives & activations in the menswear space, list of competitive set, etc.
• Assist the SD in completing any applicable action items from recurring status meetings or other key meetings the Coordinator attends - taking notes and helping keep every project organized and driving forward.
• Help distribute key project information at specific milestones to defined set of internal stakeholders across the organization.
• Assist SD in preparing and submitting any necessary creative briefs as needed for advertising, major initiatives, e-mail marketing, social media, etc. including liaising across divisions to ascertain key collection notes and product messages for given season.
• Organize meetings (scheduling, agendas, materials printing, etc.), and insert/maintain always up-to-date Polo Men’s items on the Global Marketing Calendar.
• Liaise with multiple departments within the organization including but not limited to: social media, PR, e-commerce, merchandising, etc. to partner in driving the Polo menswear projects and strategy forward on schedule
• Maintain detailed Program Recaps for Polo Men’s marketing & programs
• (Where applicable) Maintain budget/track actuals
Requirements:?
• Bachelor’s degree
• 1-3 years professional experience in marketing, advertising, PR or digital - preferably the fashion/lifestyle vertical.
• Knowledge-of and excitement-for men’s fashion – from design to social media, and an eagerness to learn and contribute to a larger team & organization. A true team player.
• Creative, diplomatic, cool under pressure and fantastic interpersonal and presenting skills
• Highly organized, strong project management skills, and professional communicator
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and large/diverse workload
• Mastery of Microsoft Office, with potential experience in Apple & Adobe suites (not mandatory)
