Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
This role is responsible to drive the brand leadership responsibility to define the Global Concept Roll Out strategic roadmap and relevant KPI’s for Retail Concepts within the CtC organisation.
Special focus will be dedicated to direct and drive end-to-end Roll Out strategy and processes across channels (Own Retail, Wholesale and Franchising), concepts and dedicated markets/regions for brand adidas, managing between brand back office functions, BU’s, markets and external vendors, in order to achieve and ensure a flawless and harmonized industry leading Roll Out strategy globally.
This role will be the main point of contact for the market implementation and real estate teams, within dedicated markets/regions, for Global Roll Out process design and governance. This role will also track, manage and review Key Market Projects at market level (dedicated markets) and secure input from all relevant KPI’s, in order to strengthen the adidas Brand concept roll out readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct and guide the implementation and governance of the end-to-end strategy of the Global Roll Out process based on the format and concept strategic roadmap across Own Retail, Wholesale and Franchising and markets for the adidas Group (brand adidas).
• Manage the implementation and governance of the global store opening process following the concepts life cycle approach (phasing in and phasing out of concepts implementation) across channels (Own Retail, Wholesale and Franchising) and markets for the adidas Group (brand adidas).
• Analyze, report and communicate dedicated market/region readiness for the global roll out of all concepts across markets for the adidas Group (brand adidas).
• Guide and drive the global store opening process and govern the documentation to be used for cross functional input to markets teams, Consumer Experience teams, CtC organization and external vendors.
• Direct and develop the necessary tools to project manage and track all relevant Roll Out KPI’s, to review strategic important projects and pilot projects status, ensuring a flawless execution across channels, concepts and markets.
• Drive and guide the development of future turnkey solutions within the adidas Group, including project management tools and tracking of all relevant Roll Out KPI’s for these projects.
• Take ownership and overall accountability for tracking and reporting of all projects which fall within the Global Roll Out scope/markets.
• Act as the key point of contact for communication for dedicated markets/regions, in relation to priorities in line with CtC organization and overall group goals.
• Lead the management of the market “help desk” for daily store roll out operations.
• Ensure training for markets on systems, tools and concepts is delivered “in time” and “in full” when required, in collaboration with functional experts (ownership of training setup).
• Own the selection, training, contract setup and process governance for store planning agencies globally.
• As the key link to the market/consumer, related travel of minimum 30% of time required.
• Support line manager on concept Roll Out strategic decisions.
• Utilize Performance Evaluation Process, The SCORE, and set demanding personal objectives for direct reports in order to develop an industry leading standard and knowledge base across all resources.
• Evaluate the competencies of his/her subordinates on a regular basis and provide prompt feedback and guidance to drive high performance.
• Guide direct reports on developing their knowledge level assuring constant internal growth and industry leading service level.
• Manage developed and rolling concepts in accordance with KPIs and Brand direction and based on industry leading best practices
• Takes ownership for Talent Management processes to grow, develop and retain talents.
• Promote a high performance culture by setting clear expectations and individual goals.
• Translate the company goals into team specific actions and business plans. Control and monitor performance and results.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Advanced skills in MS Office, MS Projects or similar & Data Base software
• Fluent in English, additional language is a plus
• Good understanding for handling CAD files & reading architectural plans
• Good understanding of consumer needs
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Excellent project management skills with proven track record on managing large scale cross functional projects
• Experience on working with diverse and partly virtual teams
• High interest on working in an international environment
• Ability to act professionally at all times as an Owners Representative inside and outside the organization
• Ability to effectively solve problems and conflicts
• Ability to plan, coordinate and provide leadership in the execution of projects
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• Graduate level business administration, engineering, construction or comparable education or business experience
• Minimum 8 years of concept development or roll out experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in leading people
• In depth understanding in driving globally managed retail development and related KPIs
• Track record of successfully driven global store roll out initiatives
