Your Role
The Fossil Group Finance organization is currently searching for a Finance Director to join the
Connected Devices Finance team. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Global Brand &
Connected Device Finance and will provide direct financial support to the Connected Devices
Group. Connected Devices encompasses Fossil Group's digital and wearable strategy with the
goal of bringing together technology and fashion. The Director will be responsible for New
Product ROI's, Biz Model Evaluations, M&A/Investment Support, R&D Analysis, Product
Margin Analysis and Targets and overall Budget/OpEx support for the group. The Director will
work with various stakeholders across the Connected Devices Group, as well as the Brand teams
in order to optimize Connected Devices investment across Fossil Group.
Your Skills
Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Finance, Economics or Accounting
MBA Preferred
8-12 years of financial planning and analysis experience (strategy experience a plus)
Prior experience in Consumer Electronics or Technology finance preferred.
Strong analytical/problem solving skills
Ability to use modeling & analytics to work with business unit leaders and influence appropriate changes
Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and deal with ambiguity
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience presenting to
Executive Level Management
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
Experience with Hyperion, Essbase, or similar type of financial software a plus
