Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Provide creative services and support to the imagery of the brand as well as responsible for controller the total tester, merchandising and maintenance budget.
Ensure Customer Growth
• Provide conceptual and/or execution support in the following areas :
◦ Sales displays
◦ Merchandising
◦ Display communication
◦ Special events
◦ Light box strategy
◦ Public relations display and collateral designs
◦ Training display
• Provide creative support in areas of advertising and promotions :
◦ Advertising layout
◦ Mailer layout
◦ Supervision of colour separations
• Provide support for all counter installations:
◦ Liaise with designers to achieve the most optimum designs
◦ Develop and nurture a team of shop fitters in order to have the best price and quality
◦ Provide daily maintenance support for all counters
• Liaise with sales, marketing and training departments to provide excellent imagery for special events and training sessions in order to ensure that communication is clear to the consumers as well as the designs are practical for the beauty consultants.
• Submit finished drawings to stores for approvals.
• Maintain dialogue with Pacific Design Centre to ensure the brand has the best designs in terms of functionality and aesthetics.
• Ensure that designs are received in a timely manner.
• Monitor all advertising and other print forms to ensure that they meet reproduction and content standards.
• Lend creative support to Public Relations and Training as well as all workshop events, in both areas of conceptualization and execution.
• Responsible for managing the display budget while ensuring that the brand’s image is not compromised.
Manages Operational Effectiveness
• Source local suppliers for events and counter installations.
• Review suppliers’ quality, reliability and cost efficiencies.
• Control of tester order from stores.
• Ensure new testers are order for all launches.
• Maintain and update of counter merchandising.
• Ensure locators are updated and light box strategies followed.
• Communicate New York guidelines to beauty consultants to ensure consistency of the brand.
• Order all collaterals from New York and manage related budgets.
• Monitor use of materials for visual merchandising to ensure it is if proper quality and validity for counter usage.
Improves Business Processes
• Actively seek multiple quotes to achieve the best cost to the brand.
• Provide date for budget process in the relevant lines.
• Assist in the planning of capital cost submissions
Leads and Develops People
• Share, lead and train suppliers to ensure quality of execution.
Qualifications
Education
• Degree/Diploma in Design and Merchandising
Work Experience
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in retail industry or exhibition industry.

• Proficient with the various computer software programs to enable the detailing of projects.
