A day in the life…
• The Production Specialist is responsible for delivering specialized production services for marketing design projects within the areas of Imaging, Digital or Print assigned.
• Ensure all final images or final layout files meet brand guidelines and standards
• Support the various design teams in production activities, including creating layouts or templates, placing or cropping images, retouching or image compression and slicing or conversion of files across multiple programs (web/mobile/print), supplying final deliverables in a timely and efficient manner
• As appropriate to work type, supply web coordinates and upload images into a CMS (Content Management System) or build layouts for print within MPS (Marketing Publishing System), including file naming, archiving and updating templates to ensuring that all project deliverables (versions, specs, etc.) are accurate
• Apply broad knowledge of production skills, project workflows and file/asset management, to handle assigned projects with minimal supervision
• Work within a continuous improvement operating model with the ability to identify and facilitate improvements and efficiencies across production work and processes
• Strong understanding of production tools and processes, keeping current with production standards and technology
You own this if you have…
• Minimum 3+ years’ production experience in either digital, print or imaging environment
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator) and MS Office Suite;
• Workfront experience a plus
• Strong experience with image layout, image compression, file correction, and/or web
• optimization techniques
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technology
• Must be highly organized, detail oriented and possess strong time management skills
• Ability to problem solve, support and collaborate with other team members effectively
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently on multiple projects to meet tight deadlines
