We are currently looking for a:
Imagery Specialist (E-commerce)
Reporting to the Imagery Art Direction Manager, the Imagery Specialist (E-commerce) is responsible for preparing product samples and supporting daily online shoots with a high level of alignment with overall campaign direction and brand filters.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Partners with Imagery Specialist (Brand) and Photography Specialist to ensure theme and campaign are followed on all daily shoots;
• Gathers and organizes samples and ensure outfits reflect brand filters in partnership with the fashion stylist;
• Demonstrates a strong point of view on trends and styling;
• Responsible for daily coordination of E-commerce photo shoots in alignment with overall brand direction;
• Responsible for preparing all merchandise for E-commerce shoots;
• Responsible for selection, cropping, retouching, uploading and merchandising of E-commerce catalogue photography and alternative views;
• Liaises cross-functionally and with adjacent departments to ensure all parties are aligned;
• Partners with Imagery Specialist (Brand) for production scheduling and talent booking and in all other assigned tasks;
• Supports Imagery Art Direction Manager in all assigned tasks.
Qualifications and competencies:
• College degree (DEC, technical diploma, community college diploma) in fashion marketing and or visual merchandising
• 2 to 5 years in an E-commerce or retail visual merchandising environment
• Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
• Knowledge of principles of commercial photography, image editing and photo studio production, including E-commerce environment;
• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Suite, specifically Photoshop, Capture One Pro and any other photo editing tools;
• Knowledge of retouching is an asset.
• Excellent eye for fashion;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Experience in web-based imaging and photography;
• Proven ability to align photo editing to meet brand imaging;
• Highly organized with a strong sense of prioritizing;
• Written and spoken communication skills;
• Detail oriented;
• Able to manage his/her time and priorities;
• Sense of ownership;
• Self-motivated, and able to work within a team;
• Experience in inventory management an asset;
• Bilingual, both spoken and written.
