Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
Finance Global Brands provides the financial support to the Marketing teams for developing and managing the brands and facilitates the strategic planning activities for brand adidas and Reebok. Objective of the team is to deliver financial transparency within the Marketing processes by Digital and Basketball Business Units in an efficient, value-added way. The teams are built with a focus on facilitating the brand's concept and product strategy process, target setting for the categories, complexity management, product range analysis, end-to-end reporting, cost controlling and financial management of the world-wide Marketing Working Budget.
The Business Analyst supports the Director of BU Finance in all areas of responsibility in order to provide Business Units with all relevant financial data. The Business Analyst also supports directly the General Managers of the Digital and Basketball Business Units and their respective 1st line management team by creating transparency about business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Director of Finance in strategic planning and translating SBP targets in seasonal and sub-category targets
• Support to create transparency on KPIs with respect to business plans (Net Sales, volume, margin, OOH, range size)
• Manage small sized projects and support the implementation of findings and sustainability of achievements
• Support and Implement adequate and aligned communication packages to present results, recommendations and solutions
• Adapt and modify working methods for day-to-day processes and systems
• Apply state of the art analytical tools regarding range efficiency, drop rounds, workload indicators, margin calculation, market overlap etc. This includes standard reporting, ad-hoc analysis as well as maintaining the Marketing range plans with margin calculation, Sales projections and Buying Volume information
• Work to achieve objectives and deliver results with a short-term, operational focus as part of the department targets
• Execute and interpret variance analysis
• Provide specific expertise for Digital and Basketball teams and act as an interface between different functions (Marketing, Design, Development, Marketing Operations, GTM-Teams etc.)

• Good communication skills for adapting and exchanging information, mainly within the organization
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Good analytical skills, managing large data quantities
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
1. University degree in Business Administration/Finance/Controlling
2. System expertise in MS office, excellent excel, SAP, cognos
3. Strong competence with various tools and procedures
4. 1-3 years working experience in Finance department
