The Role
Within the Digital Creative Team based in Amsterdam Sr. Manager Creative Operations & Delivery will play a key role in managing the operations of the creative studio and a team of producers to ensure the timely delivery and service level of all digital creative briefs.
Reporting into the Director Digital Creative Services you will play a key role managing our projects, resources and deliverables from concept through to completion. The core responsibilities for this role are to work closely with the creative team including copywriters, designers and producers to ensure the smooth running of the studio. This will include establishing a solid workflow and transparency of project statuses, timelines, resources and budgets. As well as working with your team to build strong relationship with stakeholders and internal clients, managing the scope and expectations, while promoting creative excellence.
You will ensure all campaigns and projects are delivered in full, on time and on budget. You’ll be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and develop resource plans to maintain the smooth running of workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish, monitor and review all internal processes and workflows including, creative brief, intake, resource management, maintaining and updating internal project schedules, providing transparent communication across departments
• Routinely communicate with key project stakeholders driving transparency, clarity and understanding of creative processes and status. Stay abreast of statuses and proactively solve upcoming challenges and identify opportunities.
• Responsible for tracking costs, budgets, financial planning and forecasts
• Ensuring the studio runs in a smooth and efficient manner and promoting a harmonious, creative and collaborative working environment
• Partner with stakeholders to efficiently deliver projects from concept through completion including new product launch’s, website projects, acquisition and retention marketing, campaigns, templates, tools and guidelines.
• Collaborate with department leaders to continuously review and prioritize existing and forecasted work.
• Act as the single-point-of-contact for our Global markets and ad-hoc Creative Service requests.
• Utilize project management software to log and track project statuses and manage, analyze, and optimize utilization and productivity of all creative resources
• Develop speed and efficiency by driving a planning and delivery culture. Using 80/20 rule of planning v’s reactive briefing to enable work to be turned around quickly and professionally to meet the needs of the fast and responsive nature of the digital world.
• Manage external production partners to deliver efficiencies and quality of execution. Manage the relationship, scheduling, productivity and quality of deliverables.
• Work closely with the UX, CRM, Display and SEO team to resource project teams that drive collaboration and creativity
• Manage resource planning, identify gaps and forecast for future demands. Including management of our freelance bookings to allow scalability.
• Work with designers and copywriters to scope and estimate project timelines
• Evaluate and coach direct reports, establishing annual review protocol and monthly 1:1s
• Manage documents, libraries and toolkits and manage achieve project history. Ensure assets and guidelines are stored correctly and shared globally. Look to enhance and develop sharing tools and processes.
• Support the translation process to ensure future forecasting and the timely delivery of translations and localized assets.
The Ideal Person
• At least 8+ years professional experience working as a Sn Digital Producer, or Studio Manager
• You’ll be a natural relationship builder. You have proven account management skills, to provide your stakeholders and internal clients with the same level of service they expect from a creative agency
• You have extensive experience working with workflows, project planning, scheduling and resourcing management systems in a busy studio environment
• You know how to provide full visibility of the studio workflow, and status reports
• You have experience invoicing, budget tracking and forecasting
• You are extremely organized and are into the details
• You’re a good communicator who can explain your decisions and have experience managing multiple stakeholders
• You have substantial experience managing a creative studio, with an agency background
• Experienced in Microsoft office based tools, including Microsoft project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• The ability to prioritize multiple projects and independently follow through with detail required.
• You are an enthusiastic influencer, who can energise a creative team to work hard to meet timelines and high standards
