Overview
Tiffany & Co. is currently seeking a Lead Business Analyst to support the IT Functional Manager in New York, NY. The primary purpose of this position is to play a hybrid role between a Business Analyst and Project Manager to align business and user requirements for Digital Marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for gathering, documenting, and refining business requirements to support development and enhancements of business applications. The role is also responsible for assisting the IT Functional Manager with prioritizing requests, managing project budgets, resources and schedules throughout the overall process of enhancement and project delivery.
Responsibilities
The Lead Business Analyst will support with gathering and prioritizing project requests from the Global Marketing, Marketing Production and Digital Creative teams. S/He will facilitate and coordinate the proposal and launch of Marketing eCommerce initiatives by partnering with internal IT groups, development teams, and external partners. S/He will oversee the formal planning, tracking, and reporting on project status while ensuring that systems and services support the daily business operations.
The Lead Business Analyst will ensure the completion of projects on time, create and track against project expense plans, follow establish project management practices/methodologies, and develop reports to communicate project status to key stakeholders. S/He will guide the project team from business needs and project objectives to identify and refine requirements, and ultimately through the development and maintenance of the project management plan. It will be necessary to build and maintain relationships between within the Global Marketing, Marketing Production, Digital Creative, eCommerce, and IT organizations in order to understand customer needs, identify requirements, and execute successfully.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree and/or 6 to 8 years of experience in an IT Business Analyst role
• Demonstrated experience documenting use cases and functional requirements
• Project management experience
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong business acumen
• Working knowledge of Mac OS and MS Office, including Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project, SharePoint
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Experience Manager is a plus
• Expertise with retail or eCommerce is preferred
