The Role:
You will be responsible for developing the global beauty marketing strategy and campaign launch plans for key beauty products, inline with the brand strategy and 5 year plan driving demand and maintaining the luxury brand position. The role will involve building partnership with the cross-functional teams including product development, commercial, creative media, marketing channel teams and regional marketing teams (EMEIA, APAC and Americas).
Responsibilities:
• Develop the marketing strategy including defining: key markets, target audience, objectives, approach and launch phasing.
• Work alongside the creative team to develop the campaign proposition based on the product proposition and campaign creative.
• Brief cross-functional teams and develop key workstreams and corporate activations for the launch plan.
• Lead the various cross-functional workstreams during the planning phase ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables received.
• Be the key contact for the regional marketing teams working with them to develop local trade marketing plans for each launch.
• Be the expert on the category, competition and product.
• Conduct regular competitive analysis of the market and new product developments.
• Protect the luxury brand position and image.
• Manage the campaign budget ensuring activations are efficient and within budget.
• Work in partnership with the product and commercial teams to ensure commercial targets are achieved inline with the 5-year plan.
• Maintain constant communication across the business.
About You:
• Extensive and proven experience of product marketing role within beauty/luxury/fashion industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in business or marketing.
• Innovative problem solver and creatively-driven.
• Highly analytical.
• Able to mange end to end campaign development and execution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident and dynamic personality.
• Excellent people and management skills with the ability to multitask and motivate.
• A keen interest in all things beauty/fashion and an avid follower of relevant news, trends, blogs etc.
• Results orientated with an impeccable work ethic.
• Self-motivated and ambitious with a positive “can-do” attitude.
