Responsibilities
As Visual Merchandising Project Temp, you will develop communication vehicles that support global visual merchandising direction for flagship stores under the leadership of the global VM field manager. Interfacing with regional visual merchandising teams to ensure compliance measures and flawless executions, weekly, monthly photo reports; feedback; best practice sharing. Work and coordinate with cross functional teams (retail merchandising, retail marketing, retail operations), as it relates to each seasonal floor set implementation.
Responsibilties:
• PO management; Vendor management; Retail fixture, mannequin, prop procurement support; Owns master global flagship schedule and calendar
• Ensures that all merchandise is processed efficiently within processing time requirements; manages all in and out bound product samples
• Fully processes merchandise to be floor ready
• Executes merchandise placement for floor set execution & concept work according to Brand and visual merchandising presentation standards
• Assists with other projects as directed
• Protects Company assets by adhering to guidelines and embracing the Brand policies and procedures
• Supports & executes the floor set as directed; orchestrates and implements all product placement
• Develops deep proficiency with floor set planning, staging and execution
• Creates and executes solutions for product placement in line with floor set direction
• Partners within Visual Department to achieve elevated visual execution
• Partners in coordination, maintenance, care and storage of all visual forms, elements, marketing & tools; assists in general maintenance and housekeeping of mock store and mock store storage areas
• Maintains an organized visual element, fixture and sign library zones; Ensures pitch/clean up is up to date
• Maintain mock store standards as product, fixtures & elements flow to and from the mock store
Qualifications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Highly organized; Project management; Retail visual merchandising; Graphic design proficiency (In Design); Sketch up is nice to have not a requirement
• Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing, dynamic environment
• Strong communication skills, ability to engage customers (i.e. internal/functional partners) and associates with a positive and friendly attitude
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
• Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks based on business needs
• Flexibility to work non-business hour shifts
• Working toward or recently earned an undergraduate degree and looking to gain experience in the area of merchandising and/or a related field
• Travel – We do expect that this person will need to travel up to 20% of the time, some of it abroad
