Inspired by the idea of merging house and garden to create an experience for the senses, our garden centers in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania and Westport, Connecticut cater to our customer with a curated assortment of plants for all seasons, as well as inspired items for the home and garden. Situated on luxurious indoor-outdoor environments, our on-site nurseries are each flanked by a cafe and garden terrace, providing the ideal environment to host events and workshops.

Overview
The product photographer is responsible for photographing items for shopterrain.com. Candidate must have a strong desire to constantly refine and improve creative output and produce quality, on-brand photography that enriches the customer experience online in order to drive direct sales. Must be able to think with nimbleness, ingenuity and intuition in finding ways to compellingly capture product. Someone who thrives off collaboration and is highly self-motivated is desirable.
Responsibilities
• Light and shoot digital product photography of styled products
• Capture the functionality, features, benefits, and uniqueness of individual products
• Consistently produce digital images that are within established standards, which can quickly be edited and made web-ready
• Ensure a high level of consistent technical quality and aesthetics for all photography created and distributed by the studio
• Work with stylist to ensure the product is styled efficiently and correctly
• Work closely with the Art Director and Sr. Stylist for studio direction, concepts and execution
• Understand deadlines and schedules in order to help prioritize product in a high-volume environment
• Maintain and organize photo equipment and cleanliness of studio
• Shoot creative marketing assets as needed
Qualifications
• Strong digital photography, studio lighting, and compositional skills
• Strong knowledge in both natural and studio lighting
• A self-starter, with a strong sense of teamwork in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline-driven environment
• Utilizes resourcefulness and creativity to capture the terrain brand through photography
• Expert knowledge of Canon EOS, Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom, Capture One Pro, and Mac OS X
• Videography and video editing skills a plus
• Degree in photography preferred
• Digital studio photography experience preferred
