Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Ensure positive development of adidas brand image and sustainable and profitable business through Brand marketing activities by planning across all communication channels (Digital, Social, Media) for Originals Category in your market, following by global guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
With primary focus and responsibility for the brand activation and execution for Originals category within EM North. This role will be required to work closely with the Brand Activation Team - EM North for the coordination and execution of global marketing activation calendar across all channels.
• Support extending global market initiatives and campaigns to your market and ensuring translation into cost efficient media plans and implementation across all appropriate communication channels and tools
• Help developing market-specific initiatives, events, sponsorships, activations etc. that excite the consumer are brand-appropriate
• Plan, execute and analyses constantly the marketing plans across all communication channels including media buy, event and activations in digital together with share that learning with Global Brand Marketing and internally
• Brief the creative agencies for localized content and ensure all creative work is approved by Global Brand Marketing
• Support Omni Channel Marketing with campaign development including creatives and content aligned with category in accordance with brand priorities
• Plan and share all activations planned for the category with Omni Channel Marketing for all channels
• Develop, implement and analyze social media plans across all social media channels and share them with Omni Channel Marketing team including Facebook, twitter and Instagram etc. for the category
• Follow up global product launches to ensure alignment with local launches in media
• Provide all localized content for marketing campaigns to Omni Channel Marketing
• Follow-up and analyze competition in local market to ensure the knowledge of the market by category
• Follow up the budgeting process and the MWB spending per category and prepare seasonal budget overview reports
• Contribute managing reports
• Support communication of marketing plans and campaigns internally followed by campaign results
• Support managing centrally all local agencies and ensure alignment with zone countries and global team
• Assist Senior Manager Category to ensure leading exposure in local and brand relevant channels
• Assist Senior Manager Category to develop a cohesive local plans across all categories
• Assist Senior Manager Category to support briefing, planning and execution of local marketing campaigns specific for the local market
• Support all local translation necessary across all categories for marketing campaigns and Omni Channel Marketing needs
• Assist Senior Manager Category to set KPIs for local campaigns across the category
• Establish local & event network and contacts
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Strong interpersonal skills
2. Working cross-functionally in a diverse team
3. Deep sports marketing knowledge
4. Strong influencing and presentation skills
5. Significant knowledge of the full marketing mix (advertising, events, sponsorship, retail) with a major brand or retailer (sporting goods industry preferred)
6. Proven media planning/buying experience
7. Good understanding of the Consumer Campaign Process from brief through to execution
8. Proven communicator – both written and verbal
9. Ability to build strong relationships (agency management)
10. Marketing budget management
11. Advanced user of MS Office suite of products
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
1. Minimum 3 years of experience in all brand marketing disciplines
2. Bachelors in related field required,
3. Previous experience working in a global & local matrix organization required
4. Industry experience preferred
5. IT skills: Outlook and Word: Basic; Excel and PowerPoint: advanced
6. Advanced writing skill
7. Fluent in English and Turkish (writing and verbal)
