Overview
Tiffany & Co. is currently seeking a Director to lead the Integration and Architecture team in Parsippany, NJ. This role will be responsible for driving integration and architecture decisions for new projects and existing platforms. The candidate in this role is required to have hands-on technical expertise with various technologies along with leadership and visionary skills design and architect new platform to support future growth of the company. This candidate will manage team of architects and integration team along with application managed services partner to deliver integration related development and support. Candidate will work with IT functional team to ensure services are delivered in quality and timely manner by the team. This role is required to build and strong architecture and integration team for Tiffany and Company.
Responsibilities
The Director of Integration and Architecture will be responsible for leading application architecture & integration organization, as well as leading and & mentoring a team of architects (application, integration & data). The position will establish architecture principles, policies and standards; in alignment to overall organization strategy and vision, influence and set strategic architectural direction for the company. The Director will be responsible for ensuring delivery of target Architecture for strategic business transformation programs while ensuring individual projects / solution technical teams are aligned with established enterprise architecture & standard.
Additionally, the role will provide continuous leadership in managing and resolving risks / issues while understanding current and emerging industry trends and emerging architecture; and recommend changes that align with organization strategy and vision. The role will also serve as a bridge between business and technical team; provide architectural oversight, lead the development of enterprise-level solutions and drive complex design discussions. Lastly, the Director will demonstrate advanced communication skills — oral, written and presentation and be able to distill highly complex or abstract technical issues into clear, actionable points, accompanied by authoritative details while developing trusting, influential relationships with peers and partners.
Qualifications
•Minimum of 8 years of prior experience in managing architecture team
•Minimum of 10 years of prior experience in architecture and design
•Minimum of 3 years of experience in integration development
•Hands-on experience in architecting and designing and implementing custom applications, ERP systems and other packaged applications
•Must have hands-on prior experience as an ERP architect
•Hands-on experience with building secure, highly available, and high performing applications
•Must have application managed services vendor management experience
•Experience in retail industry is a plus
