Job Summary
The Retail Coordinator's primary responsibility is to elevate brand presence, drive retail sales and guarantee sell through of product in designated territory. This person will be responsible for representing the TOMS brand and executing scheduled visits, merchandise presentations, educational clinics, in-store events, marketing initiatives and provide a feedback loop to headquarters.
Essential Responsibilities
• Build and maintain relationships with store managers, department managers, event managers and key sales associates.
• Coach and educate all store personnel on the TOMS brand, One for One Movement and new product launches.
• Deliver on program visits and time in-store expectations in assigned territory.Execute menu of visit’s checklist for each appointment, inclusive of: Product & Brand Education, POP Placement, Merchandising and Recapping.
• Recap each program visit within the week by reporting on sales results, trends, opportunities, and successes from store visit and/or event.
• Plan and execute events to help drive brand awareness and sell through.
• Maintain retail merchandising excellence by guaranteeing all styles are on display, merchandised by guidelines and accompanied by current branding or POP signage; negotiate prime placement to help achieve and/or exceed sell through.
• Collaborate with National Key Accounts or Specialty Sales and Retail Marketing teams to ensure accounts have optimal merchandising and messaging of the TOMS brand. Partner with internal teams to identify new opportunities for in-store products, primary placement and traffic drivers/events.
• Perform special projects, communicating customer needs, objectives as assigned by the Retail Field Program Manager.
Requirements and Qualifications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess outstanding follow through skills
• Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Retail Math Metrics
• Footwear & Eyewear Merchandising Fundamentals
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Retail Management or Merchandising
Travel Requirement
• Roles requires frequent travel and availability to work weekends
Physical Demands
• Lift, carry, push, pull up to 20 lbs.
