Description
The Director, Finance - Global Digital Commerce will drive the overall global financial performance of our complex and rapidly expanding Digital Commerce/Seamless business. This individual will be a member of the Nike Global Digital finance team, responsible for leading one of Nike’s key, consumer focused, strategic priorities.
He/She will:
• Drive forecasting and performance management of current fiscal year performance, proactively keeping management informed of results, and leading course correction actions when necessary
• Lead the 3 year strategic and annual planning processes for Digital Commerce through the Integrated Marketplace (Nike.com, Nikeid and Global Stores), including the seamless strategy
• Develop insights to highlight and influence priorities; deliver timely and relevant analyses to support decision making and catalyze action across the globe
• Create investment prioritization and review framework to ensure we achieve expected ROI and deliver on strategic goals
• Partner and collaborate across geography/category/function to develop a dynamic business planning function
• Leverage industry leading Digital commerce metrics to institute KPI based performance review and analysis of results
• Support the elevation of Digital controlling focus and ensure governance in place to maintain current accounting standards
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a Business-related field with an emphasis in Finance and/or Accounting; MBA or advanced degree is preferred
• Experience working in a fast paced, innovative Retail or consumer products Digital commerce business
• 8+ years' experience in finance, business/strategic planning, management consulting or related field
• Project management, problem structuring, and strategic problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Experience in providing C level management support
• Strong ability to develop high profile, influential and collaborative relationships across teams, functions and layers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver presentations to senior leadership
• Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
