Purpose
Support efficient operation within Creative Direction department. Support Senior Managers and Directors in Color + Materials and Design Operations.
Key Accountabilities
• Inventory, order and maintain necessary supplies and equipment for department needs.
• Code invoices for payment. Assure timely payment.
• Support team in day to day issues such as meeting schedules and calendar management, travel, expense reports, processing approvals
• Maintain effective communication across team.
• Coordinate meetings, appointments, and events for Department including the preparation and distribution of materials, catering and AV equipment for meetings.
• Project management duties to include projects to support the team, but not limited to: product displays, facilities upgrades, space planning,
• Maintain neat, organized studio space
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
• Ability to effectively and professionally communicate via phone, e-mail and face to face.
• Working knowledge of Mac software, MS Word, Excel, Calendar Creator, database programs (i.e. File Maker Pro or Access), graphic programs (i.e. Illustrator, Quark, Photoshop) and e-mail required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow through on all details required; comfortable working with limited supervision.
• Ability to multi-task within a fast paced, changing environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work well in a team environment.
• Knowledge of basic design terminology preferred.
Qualifications
1. Associate’s degree in related field.
2. 1 year related work experience or training. Experience within design industry and/or creative work environment preferred.
3. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree.
