Description
PRODUCT PLANNING, ORDER AND INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
• Lead whole comps process for Turkey
• Provide all necessary information and process management for product planning around full category
• Be responsible for timely delivery of all Turkey SM products.
• Work efficiently with Turkey Logistic team to make sure during whole import process.
• Be informed and stay updated about Turkish Custom Process through Turkey Logistic Team.
• Work with Product Departments, Brand team and SM Ops team to meet proper forecasting/order deadlines throughout all SM categories
• Work with Sports Marketing Managers and Sports Marketing Operation Team in CEE in effectively planning and forecasting product necessary for efficient servicing, high levels of customer service and fiscal accountability for all assets.
• Ensuring all products are ordered in line with seasonal product flow and need dates coincide with Team requirements.
• Work with GFA/GPA teams to manage federation/club product delivery
• Manage promo order and delivery process for all sports marketing assets, leading by responsible SMM
• Utilize all necessary tools for efficient and effective product planning as it relates to forecasting, inventory management and integrated strategies (e.g. seeding, launches, etc.)
• Keep Local warehouse stock level updated with the relevant product and right assortment
• Ensure orders are entered within order entry timelines, orders reflect the requested date.
• Ensure orders are within product budget of the athletes
• Actively work on cleaning up excess promo and inline inventory
• Follow seasonal marketing style list for each athlete category
• Check and review accounts and processes – continue clearing up account structure in cooperation with finance and logistics department
• Overseeing the entire import process from planning stage until delivery of the goods to the warehouse
• Tracking import operations and handling the communication with all the parties involved in delivery operation
• Operational expert between Nike Turkey Operation Team and SMMs for all questions they might have about the operations supporting SM business (transport, assets accounts, products, orders, etc)
COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT:
• Be the leading contact person in SM operations, having its expertise.
• Be the link of communication and information processes between EHQ and territory. Communicate changes and new procedures in a simple and positive way to the team.
• SM service process/tools: get proper training regarding new procedures/process. Communicate them to the country organizations and follow up during and after the implementation. Have a good knowledge of tools in order to be able to provide training to the SM Managers. Provide feedback on development of tools
• Implement and support the development of information tools and reports in order to effectively manage sports marketing business information from contracts through delivery.
• Communicate asset information and reporting in order to ensure budget control. Flag budget anomalies across the matrix.
• Budget Reports: review the monthly budget reports together with Finance team and the SM Director.
• Create, update and maintain the customer numbers of federations, athletes, events, etc. through the right channels.
• Manage the federation, athlete, event database
BUSINESS AND FINANCIAL PLANNING:
• Work with Sports Marketing Managers to efficiently plan, track, update and manage fiscal business and financial planning. Coordinate within European Sports Marketing Organization to meet yearly strategic planning timelines.
• Be responsible for all contract payments for athletes, teams and events. Work with European Sports Marketing Legal Dept. & Operation Team & Finance Team.
• Support SMM in strat plan submission, monthly budget follow-up and operation.
• Assist SMM on reviewing monthly budget status and report regularly any anomalies.
Qualifications
The prerequisite job-related qualifications for this position, such as: education, technical background, industry and/or practice area exposure, product and/or service track record, staff development experience, administrative requirements, etc.
College graduate with at least 3 years’ experience in an operational environment with a high profile, global brand organization. Five years without degree.
Have in-depth general knowledge of whole sports categories including product knowledge is a preference.
Detail oriented and ability to handle multiple tasks under difficult timelines and high pressure situations.
Demonstrated ability to work within budget.
Demonstrated ability conceive/create new thinking and ideas pertaining to innovative product planning and business information management.
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage large scale inventories.
Excellent usage of the English language is a must.
Demonstrated ability to work with, inspire and create consensus with a group to cooperatively achieve a common goal.
Expert in SAP, MS Office (Excel and Power point is a must), Nike Reporting tools
