Description
As our Senior Director of Global Supply Chain Planning Innovation, you will contribute to Nike's growth by defining and driving the strategic agenda for continuous transformation of Nike's capabilities across supply planning, demand planning, inventory management and S&OP. You will raise the bar on Nike's end-to-end value chain expertise by working in close partnership with innovation leaders in Sourcing, Manufacturing, Fulfillment and Logistics, and elevate cross-functional capability portfolio management visibility and discipline. You will build and lead a strong team of supply chain planning innovators and portfolio managers across planning functions globally. You will build compelling strategies focused on Demand/Supply Planning, Inventory Management and Fulfillment and actionable execution plans, align leadership stakeholders around a common plan and roadmap and translate strategy through to detailed cross-functional incentives and measurable business outcomes. You will bring performance management capability to the next level: Drive forward looking, actionable view of supply chain performance, drive through surface statistics to root cause and action, Convert information reviews to decision venues, spur organization to continuously meet and beat aggressive performance targets and deliver visibility to strategic impact of tactical supply chain metrics. You will support other strategy development and leadership activities as needed.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business, operations, systems or a related field
• Graduate degree is preferred
• 10 years' experience in supply chain management, process improvement, re-engineering, strategy consulting, retail/consumer goods or a related field
• Supply chain visionary
• Strong background in demand/supply planning and analytics, and inventory management
• 2+ years' people management experience
• Clear understanding of how operational excellence drives brand leadership; a natural change agent
• Direct and virtual team management experience
• Proven ownership of results
• Builder of energized teams
• Systems and analytical thinker with the ability to synthesize complex data into simple and compelling arguments for change
• General management consulting and/or proven entrepreneurial general management background
• Strong relationship-building skills; ability to create trust among those with diverse personal styles
• Maturity and energy to navigate complex organizational structures
• Solid presenter and group facilitator. Ability to translate arguments into the language of others
• Exceptional listening skills
• Proven senior executive credibility
• Strong understanding of financial concepts related to project evaluation, financial forecasting, return on investment, cash flow analysis, and cost accounting
• Global/International experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated athletic industry interest and literacy strongly preferred
• Eagerness to learn continuously
