In this role, you'll be joining the Nike.com Product Management Team, within the Nike Digital organization. Our mission is to utilize our technology and business expertise to create world-class digital experiences that delight our customers and keep us in front as a leader in online retailing. As the Product Director for Nike.com’s On-site Search and Merchandising Platform, your mission will be to see into the future of search and merchandising opportunities, and define the products that will engage consumers, create operational efficiencies and ultimately drive revenue. You’ll use your business skills to become an expert in your field, define and measure success and manage the strategic road-map. You’ll use your technical expertise to team with our engineers, creating mind-blowing solutions that surprise and delight our customers. You’ll use your organizational savvy working with key stakeholders and senior leaders to align strategies across our business and tech teams.
Qualifications
Here’s what we need you to bring to our organization:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, or related field. MBA is preferred.
• 7-10 years product management experience in a technology-centric business.
• Strong B2C digital product management experience is a must.
• Proven track record creating innovative product ideas and concepts that meet business and product strategies based on rigorous analysis of customer needs, the current technology landscape and the competitive environment.
• Strong understanding of enterprise-level eCommerce Search and Merchandising platforms, including tools for merchandising and operations.
• Experience with global content requiring translations / localization is preferred.
• Experience managing Recommendations and Personalization tools and strategies
• Experience working with Omni-channel systems and services
• Strong understanding of enterprise-level platforms and technologies including user profile management, ecommerce systems, content management platforms, messaging platforms, and social platforms.
• Experience working with in-house development teams using SCRUM methodology, authoring user stories and acceptance criteria, collaborating with developers and QA to ensure product features are delivered according to specifications.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, designers and business stakeholders.
• Ability to facilitate business, process, and technical discussions to drive clarity and understanding among a diverse set of stakeholders.
• Ability to create and prioritize feature backlogs and product roadmaps, with a clear understanding of company, group and team goals and objectives.
• Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills; executive presence.
• Demonstrated philosophy of continuous improvement, applying product management best practices to your work and sharing those with the Digital Product Management community.
• A high tolerance for ambiguity and demonstrated ability to achieve business results in a hyper-dynamic environment.
