Responsibilities:
The Production Assistant’s primary task is to carry out the directions of the Associate Production Manager to ensure the fulfillment of all orders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Data entry – support associate production manager – master chart, line plan (on order)
• Push styles into “production” in Full Circle
• Review and approve purchase order against master chart for accuracy
• Revision of ETD/ETA and price in Full Circle on weekly basis
• Review and approval of trim cards
• Preparation of shade band for review
• Send shade band comments to factories (will train how to comment)
• Maintain and file wash standards and shade band in sample closet
• Prepare and send packages to factory and follow up with tracking number
• Support costing process by building and maintaining cost line plan, update as needed and printing all cost sheets
• Maintain and track all in season trim liability in excel file
• Prepare and maintain trim liability / fabric liability binder for upper management
• Review TOP samples to ensure all trim and price ticket and apply correctly
• Organize in season TOP samples
• Send TOP comments to factory after review
• Other general office duties as needed
Qualifications:
• 1-3 years experience in apparel production management, previous experience in Denim a plus
• College degree preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office--Excel and Outlook
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Passion for fashion
• Detail oriented with strong follow through - able to organize and prioritize multiple projects
• Ability to react to change / flexibility
• Has a sense of urgency in managing time and while accomplishing tasks
• Demonstrates proactive problem solving skills
• Strong orgaanizational skills
