Business Unit Summary
Cornerstone is comprised of interactive, aspirational home and apparel lifestyle brands including Frontgate, Ballard Designs, Garnet Hill, Grandin Road, and Improvements. Cornerstone operates separate E-commerce sites for all the brands, distributes more than 325 million catalogs annually, and has 14 retail and outlet stores.
As part of the Digital/E-Commerce Business Unit for Cornerstone Brands, Digital Analytics contributes to digital growth with high-impact actionable analytics and business intelligence. The Digital Analytics function supports five retail brands within the Cornerstone portfolio, and Cornerstone at an enterprise level, in the areas of Data Integrity, Reporting, and Business Insights. The Digital Analytics Manager must function as a highly effective individual contributor in a matrix environment. This role drives business results through data and analytics, and operates at the tactical tag and monitoring level, while also serving as a strategic and creative thinker.
A Day in the Life
• Support individual brand activities and ad-hoc analysis.
• Evaluate critical KPIs and reporting suites for key online functions.
• Identify trends and overall digital landscape to help build forecasting and targeting models.
• Perform health checks (tag audits and post code release benchmark analysis), A/B testing support, testing new vendors, and monitoring activities.
• General troubleshooting of analytics reporting and analysis.
• Regularly present insights to Sr. leadership regarding the health of traffic channels.
• Analyze and understand the correlations between value (revenue, cost savings, profitability, etc.), digital engagement (login, site usage, mobile), and customer segments.
• Identify the most valuable interaction types and customer segments based on their potential value.
• Align key stakeholders with the process and outcome on an ongoing basis.
• Budget, forecast, and track the annual benefits generated by digital initiatives by brand and in aggregate.
• Identify various data elements and determine how to connect various data.
• Partner with internal and external teams to identify business opportunities and develop robust advanced analytics solutions.
• Contribute to projects that utilize online and offline data (media/behavioral/attitudinal) to build customer centric models and product optimization tools.
• Provide expertise and thought leadership on advanced analytics roadmaps, solutions, and tool sets.

Must Haves
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent amount of applicable experience.
• 5 or more years of experience in quantitative Web and strategic analysis.
• Experience with Coremetrics and Google Analytics clickstream data, in a transactional environment.
• Analytics experience in Retail and E-commerce.
• Experience working with large datasets using SQL and analytical programs.
• Aptitude for both strategic thinking and agility for tactical execution.
• Strong business acumen and enthusiasm for digital innovation.
• Track record of influencing business strategy with both internal and external partners.
• Comfortable working in an agile and fast changing environment.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
