An intern in the online merchandising area of ecommerce would specialize in publishing product content as well as participate in visual merchandising and product categorization of all merchandise. The internship includes participating in cross-functional activities within ecommerce to support interactions with brand merchants and marketing teams.
Responsibilities Include:
• Partake product turn-ins of all merchandise launching to ecommerce site
• Oversee inventory and stock-to-sales on homepage as well as through emails
• Participate in generating weekly best sellers reports
• Help collect and sample manage all digital marketing assets
• Become well adverse in site content tools
• Be able to troubleshoot site errors and incorrect site information
• Own customer reviews through Bizarre Voice
• Own communication between designers and merchants to resolve customer inquiries
Requirements
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week June-August of 2017
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent major
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, especially with the functions of Excel
• An interest in the field of merchandising and online content
• Great attitude and thirst for knowledge
• Organized and flexible
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
