The Program Manager will be responsible for managing large program wide initiatives across Supply Chain initiatives. The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple project managers and a cross functional team of resources through program implementation. The Program Manager will report into the Vice President of Supply Chain Systems and will be responsible for the financial, schedule and overall quality delivery of program initiatives for J.Crew. The Program Manager will have direct supervisory experience over several mid and junior project managers.
Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate broad knowledge of Global Retail merchandise, planning, supply chain, inventory management logistic and warehouse operations business processes
• Demonstrate broad knowledge of Product Life Cycle management business processes
• Performs the overall day-to-day management of the large program initiatives to ensure that program objectives are achieved within time/cost/quality constraints
• Responsible for coordinating multiple project managers and for ensuring all program level documentation including project plan, status reports, issues, risks and critical financial, schedule and quality components of the program are maintained and communicated over the life of the program.
• Responsible for ensuring that project level business and IT requirements are captured and documented for the whole program.
• Reports program level progress to the steering group to ensure the program overall direction and integrity
• Performs management of the risks of the program, including the development of contingency plans
• Manage scope and change control and escalate issues where necessary to IT Leadership
• Liaise with any vendors or suppliers in relation to the program
• Liaise with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that project streams of the program are listed and that test plans are aligned with project requirements and overall program scope.
• Directs and motivates the project teams
• Facilitate project and update meetings, coordinates program level status on projects in flight and coordinates with the request management and analysis function on future planning initiatives
• Take responsibility for overall progress and use of resources.
• Ensure program objectives are understood and met, ensuring that the Project Team members understand the requirements and that the program stakeholders are aligned and communicated
• Ensure all groups are adequately consulted and are satisfied with each deliverable as it effects their specialist area
• Track and report program actual expenditures as compared to the budget and effectively manage the program to successful completion within tolerances.
• Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously under the program
Education/Experience:
• 7-10 years project management experience
• 3-5 years Program Management experience
• Project Management Professional certification (PMP) or equivalent experience
• Experience leading a project management organization (minimum 2-4 project managers)
• 5 years Supply Chain management experience including Warehouse, Logistics, Merchandise Planning and, with an understanding of order fulfillment and Product Life Cycle Management processes preferred
• Knowledge of best in class Warehouse Management (Red Prairie), Merchandise and Planning (Arthur), Forecasting and Allocation (Teradata) and ERP systems (SAP) a plus.
• Strong understanding of integration architectures
• Bachelors Degree or higher with a concentration in science/engineering and/or engineering management
• Strong track record of project delivery and benefits realization
• Experience in defining, implementing and coaching others in IT Project Management methodologies

• Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Microsoft Project experience required.
