Specific Responsibilities
As part of our Global Internal Communications team you will work to develop and execute corporate brand campaigns targeting a global internal audience, as well as play a key role in the development of our social media presence.
As part of an in-house creative team, you will seamlessly integrate internal and external publishing calendars, conceptualizing visually enticing creative and writing well-crafted messages. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Internal Communications, you will lead a small editorial teams in the development of written content, video scripts, feature stories, and lead the production and execution of multi-platform executions alongside a team of designers.
This role requires the ability to interpret complex briefs and translate them into engaging creative campaigns. Excellent copy writing, editing and creative concept development skills are essential to this role.
A perfect candidate for the role is a flexible all-rounder. Someone with project management skills that can juggle a number of assignments and has the ability to self-prioritize their workload, and the workload of others, to achieve deadlines. You enjoy working with various internal and external stakeholders and understand the importance of upholding our company’s brand and reputation. Daily Responsibilities Include:
• Create engaging employee-focused marketing campaigns to support various HR, community engagement, volunteering and health and wellness initiatives, and translate campaign materials and results into relevant and compelling content for external consumption.
• Support a series of in-house events and programs to enhance the employee brand experience.
• Work alongside the creative team to develop concepts for internal and external communications campaigns, overseeing the seamless flow of internally published content to our external social media platforms.
• Responding to questions and comments posted on our social media in a timely manner and seamlessly move difficult questions offline.
• Lead a small editorial team in story development, overseeing idea pitches and writing/editing content for publishing.
Skills and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
• 8-10 years experience in marketing, communications and/or social media roles in-house or agency-side.
• Experience project managing small to medium-sized teams.
• Impeccable English writing and editing skills.
• An eye for design and talent for conceptualizing creative concepts.
• Broad understanding of SEO and content marketing.
• Exceptional attention to detail, good instinct and judgment skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Well-developed interpersonal and presentation skills.
• International work/travel experience is an asset.
