The Omni-Channel Marketing team focuses on one to one communication with HSN’s customers, supporting the growth of the business by increasing top-line revenue and long-term customer profitability. They develop marketing campaigns to move customers through the lifecycle and grow the relationships. The campaigns leverage numerous direct to customer touch points and marketing channels including inbound web/phone, email, direct mail, credit card, package inserts, search engine marketing, display, gaming and social media.
A Day in the Life
The Assistant Manager, Mobile Marketing will be responsible for managing the new and current initiatives planned for the mobile marketing programs in support of key business priorities. He/She will work under the guidance of the Sr. Manager as well as internal and external partners to ideate, scope and execute projects that support new customer acquisition (SMS, Push, Mobile App), optimize and enhance current the processes supporting them, and drive increases in Mobile App downloads. He/She will also be trained as back-up support for email marketing production and development.
Working with the Sr. Manager, the Assistant Marketing Manager will:
• Serve as the project manager and central point of contact for existing and new mobile marketing efforts
• Execute acquisition efforts across TV, Digital & Marketing in support of educating customers about the value of the HSN App, SMS & Push
• Serve as the point person and linkage to the external technology partner to troubleshoot any issues with messaging, platform, deliverability and general SMS & Push platform stability
• Working with internal stakeholders, develop and deliver baseline reporting for mobile marketing engagement and response
• Work with the technology team and analytics team to ensure more comprehensive reporting and analytics are in place to understand the impact of marketing tactics
• Contribute to ongoing portfolio planning by identifying gaps and opportunities within the technology landscape to drive increased customer engagement and improve technology platforms and supporting processes

Must Haves
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Management
• 2 years of experience in a digital marketing role, preferably with exposure to mobile marketing and technology
• Experience in basic HTML coding
• Strong marketing skills, customer advocate, strong interest in marketing technology
• The ability to synthesize information and needs is essential
• Must be able to communicate business goals and navigate across numerous functional teams in order to deliver on goals
• Experience managing multiple projects on time and within scope
Candidates will be considered in totality of their skills and experience versus strict interpretation of “must haves”.
Nice to Haves
• Knowledge and experience of marketing techniques within the digital space
• Technical knowledge of mobile applications
• Experience creating and executing marketing plans via mobile app channels
• Experience working closely with technology organizations to deliver marketing capabilities
• Experience with web analytics tools such as Coremetrics and Google Analytics
• Experience with CRM-based tools such as Salesforce and IBM Unica
