Responsibilities:
• manage all styling needs including internal showroom walk-thru’s, e-commerce photo shoots, social media messaging, and ad hoc projects.
• partner with creative team to concept and execute on fashion stories and any product messaging to highlight the most important seasonal messages while evolving the jack spade new york brand story.
• partner with jack spade new york creative director and fashion director to identify emerging trends and translate into seasonal looks that are relevant and aspirational to the jack spade new york guy.
• become embedded in the merchandising, design, and buying teams to maintain an in depth knowledge of monthly collections, key investments, and high impact pieces; serving as a product filter on the creative team.
• partner with the public relations team to ensure alignment on key fashion messages each season through all outlets.
• partner with the visual merchandising team as needed to carry key messages through specialty and wholesale.
• create and maintain all styling documents – including market coordination, credit, and styling.
• sample coordination.
Qualifications:
skills and abilities required:
• elevated taste level and keen understanding of the jack spade new york brand
• ability to partner cross functionally and navigate within a collaborative environment
• excellent communication, time management skills, and ability to multitask and focus in a busy work environment
education and experience required:
• 5 – 7 years fashion editorial and/or styling experience
• both fashion editorial and brand styling experience preferred
