The Sr. Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of the digital marketing strategy and the CRM program for Timberland in EMEA.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Planning and implementation of digital media strategy:
• Managing the budget by establishing the correct media mix in order to reach the business ojectives
• Drive eCommerce site awareness, traffic and conversion through on-line marketing campaigns (emailing, banners, search, affiliates, etc)
• Recommendation of eCommerce pages visuals accommodating both brand positioning and guidelines, and business needs
• Monitor performance of campaigns with available tools (e.g. Google analytics)
Digital contents supervision with the objective to drive business unit content strategies to deliver business KPIs:
• Ensure consistency across all channels, media and owned platforms and contribute to the overall development of the content strategy
◦ Coordinating with the Brand management, eCommerce, Strategic Accounts and Trade Marketing leaders to understand goals and objectives
◦ Supervision on the production of images and assets for use on owned websites, digital channels and Strategic Accounts
◦ Supervision on asset delivery for local markets across a variety of media
Set up and implementation of a CRM strategy in a multichannel environment:
• Working across eCommerce, Retail and Brand Marketing, acting as the bridge between these business departments
• Define, achieve and measure CRM goals: increase database, retention rates, drive loyalty and increase revenues
• Supervision of a CRM seasonal calendar, customer contact strategies, welcome programs and other behavioural communications
• Work across different business functions to champion and drive CRM improvements
Additional responsibilities include:
• Global competitive analysis, global best practices gathering and sharing
• Budget management (planning and tracking)
QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and /or abilities required for the individual to be successful in this position.
• Education: Degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in a business/marketing related discipline with on-line specialization.
• 7 years experience of working in an online marketing, or a project management/development role within an Internet enabled business.
• Awareness and knowledge of a broad range of online marketing practices, with in-depth understanding of customer and consumer behaviors. Good awareness of technology development, including web sites, usability, personalization, email, search, affiliate, SEO and on-line advertising. Experience of software/web-site development and support processes.
• Project management – including global virtual team management and experience of managing online development projects.
• Experience working with external partners – digital design and web technology agencies, online research companies.
• Leadership: Having a first experience in managing a team
• Language skills: English mandatory. Any second language would be a plus. Good presentation skills, both written and oral.
