THE FANTERNSHIP
We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working intern(s) with the ability to think creatively, be proactive and make clear, well-reasoned decisions. We are looking for individuals that will go above and beyond to contribute to the success of this world class organization. He/she must also be able to work collaboratively as a team and be a self-starter.
Internship positions are competitive and are paid positions.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
• Assist with month end close activities
◦ Prepare Journal Entries
◦ Assist with preparation and review of financial statements
◦ Assist with monthly analysis and reconciliations
◦ Assist with the development and support of audit schedules
• Support key financial projects
◦ Assist with documentation of key accounting policies
◦ Assist with the documentation of SOX controls
◦ Assist with the roll-out of our electronic payments and P-card setup
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
• Proactive, hard-working, intellectually curious and results-oriented
• Must have good time management, communication skills and have the ability to handle a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
QUALIFICATIONS
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
• Available to work full-time or part-time during Spring 2017 (January-June)
• A minimum of 3.0 GPA
• Passion and interest in sports
