Purpose and Scope:
Ralph Lauren is seeking an Associate Producer to support the production of digital product shoots at the Long Island City Studio. Responsibilities include the booking of studios and staff, the building of our freelance talent roster, and supporting the Production team with finance reporting and shoot planning. Superior communication and problem solving skills are a must, along with the ability to manage competing priorities between and across business groups.
Responsibilities:
• Support Production team in booking of still life and on model shoots for all Ralph Lauren brands.
• Ensure the mix of staff can meet qualitative standards and product is scheduled in time for sales.
• Record and report out key studio metrics daily.
• Partner with finance to reconcile and allocation studio costs. Report trends to studio leadership.
• Attend creative led meetings to concept feature shoots and understand timing and direction. Prepare budgets with respective teams and track accordingly.
• Work with the Production and Operation teams to plan studio space for short and long-term optimization. Contribute to processes that drive quality and improve timelines and metrics.
• Ensure all freelance staff is budgeted and paid.
• Help build and maintain the relevant pool of freelance talent (photographers, stylists, assistant stylist, hair and makeup, tailors, etc.) through industry connections and organizing casting and portfolio reviews.
• Assist with the day-to-day studio operations, such as catering, studio allocation and talent relations.
• Assist as needed on studio wide projects.
Qualifications:
• BA or BS degree
• Experience organizing shoots, events, schedules. Prior production experience preferred.
• Proven leadership and people-development skills, as well as experience leading a multi-functional or multi-location organization.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively interact at all levels of the organization.
• Results-driven work ethic with the ability to manage multiple projects and resources.
• Strategic vision and ability to execute programs with measurable impact.
• Demonstrated superior critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
