Our Creative team operates as HSN’s in-house creative “agency” composed of such positions as Copywriters, Art Directors, Photographers, UX Designers, and many more. This team utilizes their experiences and talents on everything from photo shoots, writing creative content for digital, TV or our social platforms, or designing our next programming guide.
A Day in the Life
The Sr. Post Production Artist is responsible for retouching images using ADOBE Photoshop with key focus on making creative shots their absolute best for use in print and digital.
• Work with Art Directors for direction on specific needs for creative shots
• Focus on details such as hair, skin tones, apparel, color accuracy
• Learn and apply the proper naming convention for archiving all digital assets
• Coordinate the flow of images from vendors to HSN through FTP site, e-mail and regular mail
• Utilize in house programs and information needed to sort, name, and load images accordingly
• Work closely with other imaging personnel to establish specific brand looks and standards
• Work with merchant teams in order to fulfill any and all image related requests
• Reformat images to fit current HSN standards
• Load all images into all necessary platforms (LEX, WEB, Creative Archive, etc.) prior to established deadlines

Must Haves
**In order to be considered you must include a link to, or attachment of, your portfolio**
• Must have a bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5 years experience in retouching models and fashion
• Must have a good eye for color, balance, symmetry and scale
• Excellent skills in Adobe creative suite (Photoshop specifically) and Capture One Software
• Must be proficient with Macintosh OS, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of web and print production
• Ability to organize and maintain a heavy work load in a fast paced environment
Candidates will be considered in totality of their skills and experience versus strict interpretation of “must haves”.
Nice to Haves
• Ability to work with Photographers on set when needed.
• Experience troubleshooting onset issues (set up, lighting, equipment, etc.)
