Responsibilities:
The Project Coordinators for Retail Systems are the back bone of IT support for all our retail stores across the US and Canada. They serve to help all of the IT systems to work in unison to provide a seamless customer experience.
The objectives of this position are to elevate Retail store service delivery through continuous improvement and support staff training. The coordinator reports to the IT Manager Service Operations and works with the service delivery manager, retail engineering teams, customer service, store operations team and various store vendors/partners.
Strategic Planning Implementation
• Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews including but not limited to:
◦ Resolving problems, preparing and completing action plans and completing audits
◦ Implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards
◦ Identifying trends, determining system improvements and implementing change
Budget Management
• Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
• Ensuring the effective preparation and delivery of all project events and meetings and production of all necessary documentation
Communication
• Ongoing evaluation of project activity and reporting on project progress
• Communicates key issues, milestones with all key stakeholders – internally/externally including vendors, internal staff, and business partners
• Responsible for the effective flow of information between team members, participants in project activities
Ongoing Learning
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
• Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Qualifications:
• 1-3 years knowledge of POS Systems-- POS Troubleshooting, ability to identify and assess problems with POS systems
• Varied background working with retail store systems
• Experience with store wireless networking and/or traffic counters a plus.
• Experience with store wireless networking and/or traffic counters a plus.
• Experience with multi/omni-channel selling including POS, tablet, kiosk, handheld devices
• AA or certification in IT Networking or POS systems - Development (or equivalent degree) from an accredited college or university
• Micros X Store Configurations--Ability to Configure, troubleshoot and translate learning into trainable material for support teams.
• Ability to provide documentation on reporting on vendor issues, project issues, training progress, critical/outstanding support tickets and step by step implementation of new processes and procedures.
• Ability to manage all types of customer service questions from retail environment, ability to write Tier 1 and Tier 2 guides preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to work and effectively communicate with vendors, internal staff, and business partners on projects
• Experience with XStore, AJB, and Balance preferred
