Burberry is the leading Digital luxury brand, and we are looking for a talented and highly motivated Digital Designer to work across our global media channels.
Being one of the biggest luxury advertisers in the world, Burberry requires a designer with a strong sense of style and sensibility for the fashion aesthetic. In this role, the right candidate will be a key part of the global media team, shaping the creative for our media campaigns globally across both owned and bought media channels, taking the brand to the next level in terms of creativity and engagement.
You:
• An experienced & highly motivated designer, consistently seeking to further your own progression as a designer and reach new levels in terms of creative and innovative output
• A passion for content curation, as well as an eye for content creation.
• You should have a clear interest in storytelling through your work, and an ability to understand user journeys and brand touch-points across a variety of media
• A clean and considered design style, with a strong sensibility for the fashion aesthetic and what makes good design
Role Responsibilities:
• Leading a team of assistant designers, overseeing the curation of content across both owned and bought media channels, including Burberry.com, 3rd parties, Email and the Burberry App
• Creative concepting for upcoming campaigns across the breadth of our digital media channels, consistently seeking to push the boundaries of storytelling, innovation and creativity
• Leading the design, implementation and on-going curation of brand pages and landing pages, across Burberry’s digital commerce channels
• Ensuring creative alignment across all digital commerce channels
• Be a key player in pushing the boundaries of bespoke content and design, with a desire to continually identify opportunities and key areas to improve and innovate in
• Liaising with external production agencies, ensuring creative output meets our high standards for content
• Oversee 3 Assistant members of the team, ensuring their work remains to the highest standard, giving creative direction and assisting in their professional development
Role Requirements:
• Great taste, with a good appreciation of both the Fashion and Beauty industry.
• An understanding and appreciation for consistency in customer experiences in an omnichannel digital commerce landscape
• A motivated team player, who is able to work with Marketing and Business teams, as well as UX and design functions, cultivating open communication and relationships to enable them to produce considered work
• Good understanding of brand guidelines and working within varying constraints
• Excellent typography and layout skills, with experience of designing for HTML5 a plus
• Experience on working on large volume projects, where multiple versions, translations or adaptations are required
• Good knowledge of Mobile and Desktop Web Usability best practices, and Responsive and Adaptive design is a plus
