POSITION SUMMARY
This is a unique opportunity to join an accomplished team of creators and innovators who are dedicated to bringing the Ralph Lauren family of brands to life across the social media landscape. The Social Media Manager is responsible for helping to concept and for coordinating the execution of various strategic and social media content initiatives. He or she will partner closely with various divisions — including PR, Editorial, Marketing, and Legal — to ensure key messages are delivered in an engaging, compelling and on brand way that drives KPIs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Spearhead and facilitate the formulation and planning of social media campaigns, ensuring KPIs are defined and tracked.
• Act as the advocate of social media integration within the Company, influencing overall site and business strategies.
• Ensure social content is posted in a timely and efficient manner.
• Source and manage relationships with social monitoring and platform partners to support and develop commercial opportunities
• Provide benchmarks and analyze data to inform company-wide decision-making and ensure campaign targets are met
• Monitor the competition and be aware of market changes and developments.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of social media and networking platforms and monitoring suite suppliers.
• 3-5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role at a fashion/lifestyle brand or media outlet strategizing and coordinating social campaigns
• Creative, diplomatic, cool under pressure and fantastic interpersonal and presenting skills
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Demonstrable passion for fashion and lifestyle
• Deep knowledge of the industry and great contact book
• Experience with business and strategy development
• Ability to build and leverage a strong network of peers and partners
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing/communications or other relevant field
