L’Oreal USA has a unique program for recent graduates! It is a multi-faceted full time paid internship for up to 12 months at L’Oreal USA. You will have the opportunity to work independently, partner with Human Resources (HR) and Finance, and gain knowledge of the L’Oreal USA HR / Financial planning & reporting systems, as well as exposure to the Global consolidation process.
RESPONSIBILIITIES:
•Validate and analyze information for headcount on a monthly basis between local planning system/reports and Global reporting tools
•On a monthly basis create consolidated reporting via group reporting system
•Project Free Standing Store Trends / Budget for headcount and Personnel Costs
•Perform Strategic Projects throughout the internship.
•Assist in Month End Closing — Journal Entry Preparation / Month End close tasks
•Special projects as defined by department management

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
•Candidates must have received a Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months OR must have graduated with a Master’s degree within the last 12 months with no gap more than 5 months in education history
•Possess a 3.0 GPA or higher
•Strong computer Skills (Excel), experience in SAP helpful but not required
•Have demonstrated use of analytical skills – both using tools (ex. Excel, Business Objects, etc.) and problem solving and critical thinking skills
•Possess strong verbal communication, writing and interpersonal skills along with the ability to form strong cross-functional relationships
•Demonstrates ability to work in a fast paced environment with composure, as well as independently.
•Be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic and sense of confidentiality
•Prior internship or office experience preferred
This position is NON-EXEMPT under FLSA, and is eligible for straight time up to 40 hours and overtime paid in accordance with FLSA regulations after working 40 hours in a weekly period.
