Summary:
The Director, Security Tools will be responsible for implementing the strategy for mitigating technical risks within the Ralph Lauren IT infrastructure and lead a team through the development and implementation of tools to identify, prevent and contain technical security risks . The incumbent will serve as subject matter expert on limiting security risks and offer solutions as they partner with stakeholders to address business requirements. The Director will report to the Senior Director, IT Security.
Required:
Direct team responsible for development and implementation of tools that will identify, prevent, contain or mitigate technical security risks that exist in the RL IT Infrastructure
Design solution models consistent with RL Security Architecture for tool implementation
Develop penetration test processes and protocols against high-risk areas of the IT environment
Build risk assessment models for new/existing IT infrastructure components
Document areas of significant exposure to the IT environment and recommend solutions
Create scripts and programs used to conduct and/or manage digital forensic investigations
Build response programs for cyber incidents
Coordinate with Loss Prevention on cyber investigation models
Direct team and tactical decisioning for deployment and/or augmentation of the infrastructure (manager, client, reporting engines, etc) for a variety of security tools, including:
Antivirus
Firewall
Intrusion detection/prevention
Network Firewall and web application firewall
Data leakage protection
Encryption tools
Network sniffers and packet data collectors
URL filtering and other proxies
Security Incident and Event Management
Vulnerability scanners
Digital cyber forensic and eDiscovery tools
Desired:
Experience managing small-mid size team of Sr. Security Engineers
Experience with advanced forensic and security analytic tools
Experience with performing forensic investigations and participation in eDiscovery activities
Cyber-crime related law enforcement experience
Required Skills:
5-10+ years of Network and/or Host Security experience.
Direct team responsible for development and implementation of tools that will identify, prevent, contain or mitigate technical security risks that exist in the RL IT Infrastructure .
Strong expertise in security configuration of various operating systems, including all relevant versions of Windows, Unix and Linux.
Strong expertise in log data analysis
Strong expertise in data extraction and parsing scripting (shell, pearl, macros, excel, etc)
Strong expertise in performing network and host penetration testing
Strong expertise in configuring and utilizing vulnerability assessment scanners (ex: Foundstone, Nessus, ISS, etc)
Strong expertise in the use of host security configuration assessment tools (ex: Policy Auditor, ESM, etc)
Strong expertise in conducting digital forensics investigations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven system problem solving skills and experience resolving complex business issues
Desired Skills:
Strong knowledge in network security architecture
Experience working with risk tracking tools
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Preferred Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
CISM, CISSP, CISA, GIAC/GCFA
