Nordstrom is building a team of data and analytics experts to support the company’s marketing efforts. We need experienced analytics program managers to help the different business units transform into data-driven marketing organizations.
A day in the life...
• Consult with marketing teams and lead the development of reporting and measurement roadmaps.
• Lead projects to create reports and dashboards providing marketers with access to the data they need to make the right decisions at the right time.
• Provide advanced analytical support to answer critical questions related to Marketing performance, with a laser-like focus on the incrementality of Marketing activities.
• Provide consulting on Design of Experiments (DoE), including advice on statistical power.
• Diagnose portfolio performance and identify opportunities.
• Influence others through effective communication and subject matter expertise, with a high level of proficiency crafting presentations to support sound, objective-based decision making.
• Execute and drive projects to completion in a timely manner and work collaboratively with cross-functional partners across the enterprise.
You own this if you…
• Bachelor’s degree in math, statistics, operations research, economics or related quantitative discipline with experience is required. (Advanced quantitative degree preferred).
• 7+ year’s professional experience in analytics or other quantitative disciplines (5+ years of professional experience for advanced degree holders).
• Experience in managing projects and analysts in delivery of analytic projects.
• 5+ years of experience in use and application of SAS/SQL/R OR Python to extract and manipulate data (advanced skills in programming preferred).
• Experience with reporting and visualization tools like Tableau or Business Objects.
• Hands-on solutions architecture experience – designing from ETL to end user output.
• Prior experience managing and measuring digital advertising campaigns and social media campaigns/programs.
• Enjoy developing brand engagement metrics.
