Under Armour is looking for a qualified, driven Senior Manager of Global Store Design. This is an opportunity to be part of a great success story, as Under Armour continues to impact the business like no other company has. The Senior Manager will be responsible for the design and development of Under Armour’s Brand House, Factory House & Shop in Shop concepts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Champion the store design process – engage, inspire and lead the organization to bring each store environment to life
• Lead Global Store Design by developing guidelines, setting standards, and creating tools for all DTC & SiS concepts
• Manage online web portal for distribution of design information
• Maintain a master set of documents for each concept
• Develop a library of all globally approved finishes and specifications
• Train and update Regional Partners on UA store concepts, standards & systems
• Provide internal coordination with UA Stakeholders including: Development, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Asset Protection, IT, Operations, etc.
• Manage the architectural design process by assessing the scope of the project through review of surveys and Real Estate documents
• Review and approve concept designs for all DTC locations
• Manage the design development package for New Market locations

◦ Finish Plan
◦ Interior Elevations
◦ Lighting Design
◦ IT & Asset Protection
• Provide design direction for global flagships as well as first in region locations
• Provide clear, effective and timely communication of design direction and changes to consultants. Identify exceptions, propose design solutions and resolve issues with cross functional partners.
• Manage the production of construction documents by designers and consultants for global flagships and first-in-region locations. Ensure intended scope of work, needs and code requirements are met.
• Visit regions on a quarterly basis to ensure brand identity is maintained and processes and procedures are effective
• Maintain a cooperative network with industry colleagues and competitors to constantly evaluate and build on ‘best practices’
• Stay atop of new retail trends by attending store design and development conferences

• Up to 20% travel as required (domestic & internationally)
Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture/Interior Design
• 8-10 years Retail Design experience for a major corporation – International Retail experience preferred
• AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite
