Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Focusing on the assigned Categories (Style – Originals and Neo) across Emerging Markets, Sr. Manager CTC will Drive and ensure category business success through the development and execution of robust horizontal concepts and category plans, within the strategic framework set by Director CTC EM.
Manage the execution of range architecture across all DTC and wholesale channels in all store formats in line within global guidelines based on KPIs that include Global Brand footprint, consumer relevance, efficiency, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support line manager in the development of optimal Emerging Markets omni-channel range framework across all categories and channels and deploy key Brand concepts through the Senior Directors Marketing in each market within Emerging Markets and by working closely with the EM BU Directors.
• Working closely with Emerging Markets Category Business Unit leads, define number of articles allocated (total, per price brackets, per concepts, per channel, per category, per gender, per channels/EKA) and product allocation (top, enhanced, core) guidelines for EM including SMU, Promo
• Assist in the the deployment of the Global CTC concepts across predefined EM distribution roadmap: plan concept merchandising and allocation, cross-channel and cross-category, by account/city/destination doors
• Monitor concept deployment execution including customer allocation and product segmentation strategy
• Create reports on the adherence to the pricing strategy and analyse reasons for deviation.
• Monitor the range architecture's effectiveness and apply learnings into future seasons and across Emerging Markets.
• Support in the execution of the seasonal / phasing framework aligned to consumer consumption peaks and category launch requirements
• Collaborate with Demand Planning team and SCM functions as appropriate
• Key contact to local sales teams on range specific topics and concepts
• Conversant with analytics on the sell-in and sell-through performance of respective category as well as the ROI on communication investments (analytical support from business intelligence function)
• Communicate and collaborate with sub-market teams within EM to ensure timely delivery of seasonal range plans including, but not limited to, the following elements:

◦ Category priorities
◦ RRPs
◦ Product lifecycles and rotation
◦ Horizontal concepts
◦ Balance of Brand-building and net sales driving products

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• High professional maturity; collaborative with strong communication skills
• High influencing skills and ability to make fact based decisions
• Strong analytical skills; Structured, organized and process orientated
• Previous experience in Category Management/ Merchandising/ Ranging
• Strong business acumen, ability to assume a broader perspective (cross-markets/ global)
• Attention to detail as error in analysis will have crucial impact to business
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office
• Fluent in English
• Experience in both market and above market organization preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Retail Ranging processes and systems
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• University degree in Business and/or a minimum of 6-8 years equivalent professional experience, ideally in Sales and/Merchandising/Pricing/Buying environment
• Fluent in English
