Forever 21 is seeking an innovative, energetic, and passionate team player to add to our dynamic E-Commerce team.
Job Purpose:
The Associate Graphic Designer is responsible for assisting the Global Creative department by creating in-store visual assets for small to medium scale national and international projects that are designed to promote new Forever 21 campaigns and trends. He/She will also be tasked with assisting Sr. Designers with their projects by creating and editing minor assets used in the project as well as helping the Assistant Designers learns the department’s best-practices.
Deliverables:
• Create visual assets for small to medium scale marketing projects for Forever 21’s national and international market
• Create assets for high-profile events, ensuring that each best represents Forever 21 and its place in the market
• Develop in-store signage, marketing, and other assets used to promote new campaigns and specific trends
• Explore design concepts and executions, looking for ways to improve the overall quality and structure of project assets
• Create visual assets for in-house promotions, programs, or utilities used at Forever 21’s corporate office
• Collaborate with other Designers on the team to best accommodate Brand Voice consistency across all media
• Assist Sr. Designers with large-scale projects by creating and editing minor assets used in one or more areas of the project
Job Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a fine art
• Must have 3-4 years of experience in graphic design
• Proficiency with Adobe, Photoshop, Illustrator and other related programs essential
• Strong technical proficiency working in a Mac environment
• Must have intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business
