• Primary Purpose:
This individual devises, plans, analyzes and coordinates merchandising campaigns for our Ecommerce consumer brands across all devices and several marketing channels. They will drive revenue growth through timely and impactful league, team and player merchandise stories that align with our brand strategies and stimulate incremental demand.
• Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
◦ Collects objective and subjective data about potential league, team and player merchandise stories based on their own research, new product launches, performance of past stories, events occurring across the landscape of sports, and from various feedback from internal parties
◦ Devises and ranks all the league, team and player stories that will be told for our consumer brands. Makes selection and ranking decisions based on objective business data , individual brand strategies and intuition for impactful business opportunities,
◦ Determines the underlying framework for how this story should be told including but not limited to…

# User Experience (e.g. Target asset location, Landing pages and linking structure)
# Assortment range
# Key styles with the assortment
# Merchandising widgets to be used
# AB tests for merchandising
# Expected sales
# Advertising partnership recommendations
# Push marketing timing/frequency recommendations
◦ Maintains merchandising calendar and coordinates key stories with visual merchandising, creative teams, site operations and channel marketing teams
◦ Spearheads all merchandising activities for small and large hot market opportunities
◦ Validates that all content launches across all devices and channels is launched accurately and on time
◦ Monitors, analyzes and reports on merchandising performance and AB test results Leverages learnings to ensure continuous optimization of merchandising and channel marketing.
◦ Accountable for merchandising operations and performance of several sports/leagues
◦ Performs other adhoc tasks to support day-to-day merchandising, marketing projects and overall ecommerce business operations
• Education & Experience Requirements:
◦ College Degree, preferably in a related field
◦ 3 or more years of marketing, ecommerce or related professional experience
◦ Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills
◦ Very reliable, self-motivated and able to manage his/her own work without regular supervision
◦ Great written/verbal and interpersonal skills
◦ Business and marketing savvy professional with excellent decision making skills and solid analytical capabilites
◦ Solid entrepreneurial thinker with good merchandising instincts
◦ Sports guru with broad sports knowledge and interest
◦ Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
◦ Experience in the sports licensed marketplace (desired)
